Is this a wig or a sewn bundle?

Neither. This is human hair intended for crochet installation through a braided base; it is not a lace wig or machine-sewn weft.

How many packs should I choose?

Each pack is 100g. Supplier guidance suggests 2 packs for shorter lengths and 3 packs for longer lengths, but no exact length cutoff was provided. Confirm your plan with your braider.

Can I wash and restyle it?

It is human hair, so it can be gently cleansed and restyled. Detangle in sections, limit friction and use a strand test before heat styling.

01

Curl-forward shape

Rounded, defined curl groups make the texture a visible part of the finished style.

02

A crochet approach

Hair placed through a braided base. No full wig cap or sewn track.

03

Width by placement

Defined curls expand the silhouette, so spacing matters as much as the pack count.

Actual Burmese Curly crochet human hair showing rounded defined curl groups

Texture you can see

Rounded curls.
More shape through the finish.

This is the curl-forward option in the Crochet collection. Rounded groups create visible definition and build a wider silhouette as your braider separates and places the hair.

Defined by the product, not the name alone"Burmese Curly" is not an industry-standard curl measurement. The actual-product image defines this Tressifine texture.
Fuller does not always mean more packsRounded curls create width. Placement and spacing can prevent a planned full look from becoming too dense.
Expect a shorter visual dropCurled hair springs upward. Choose length by the finished silhouette you want, not by inches alone.

The finish starts
with the foundation.

A crochet install brings individual pieces of hair through a braided base. Your braider controls the parting, spacing and final shape.

Braided foundation during a crochet installation

1Plan the base

Choose a parting and braid pattern that suit the finish you want.

2Hook & secure

Draw the hair through, then secure it using the correct method for its root.

From your saved look to your appointment

Three decisions.
A better-prepared install.

01

Choose the finish

Bring a clear reference for the parting, volume and face framing you want.

02

Match length and fullness

Burmese Curly can sit differently from straightened hair. Plan the finished drop and total grams together.

03

Confirm the root method

Ask how your braider will secure the exact root format before the appointment.

Keep the movement

Defined curls.
A hands-on routine.

Curly human hair is not install-and-forget. Friction, dryness and product buildup can change how the curl groups separate and move.

Separate before you comb

Use your fingers in small sections, starting at the ends. Support the attachment area instead of pulling through resistance.

Keep moisture lightweight

Use only what the hair needs. Heavy oils and creams can collect between curl groups and make the finish look dull or stuck together.

Dry the whole foundation

After a gentle wash, allow both the added hair and braided base to dry fully. Avoid rough rubbing, twisting and high heat.

Section it overnight

Loosely separate the curls before using a smooth bonnet or pillowcase. Give the nape extra attention where friction is highest.

The questions
worth asking first.

Know the method, the amount and the care before you commit.

Ask our team
Is Burmese Curly the same as Body Wave or Deep Wave?

No. This Burmese Curly has rounded curl groups and a fuller outline. Body Wave is broader and looser; Deep Wave is usually sold as a more repeated S-shaped pattern. Because names vary by seller, judge this product by its actual photographs.

Does "Burmese" mean the hair comes from Myanmar?

Not on this page. Burmese Curly is the supplier and market name for the texture. We do not claim Myanmar donor origin, raw hair or single-donor sourcing without documentation.

Will my finished style look exactly like the Hero image?

The Hero shows the curl-forward direction, not a guaranteed density or drop. Head size, braid pattern, parting, layering, length and Pack count all change the result. Share the image with your braider and plan the placement together.

How many packs should I order for a full head?

The supplier suggests 2 packs for shorter lengths and 3 packs for longer lengths, but did not give an exact cutoff. Defined curls can build width quickly, so confirm the amount from your target silhouette, head size, braid pattern and spacing.

Is it pre-looped or feather crochet?

The names describe different root constructions and should not be assumed from the curl pattern. Contact our team and confirm compatibility with your braider's attachment method before ordering.

Is Burmese Curly low maintenance?

It is a defined curly human-hair texture, so it needs regular separation, light moisture, low friction and a fully dried braid base. We do not describe it as tangle-free or maintenance-free.

Can I wash, color or heat-style it?

Cleanse and detangle gently. Heat and chemical processing can weaken human hair and change the curl pattern. Choose the closest ready-made shade, consult a professional and test one small section before processing.

Can I use the hair for another install?

Reuse may be possible after careful wear and removal, depending on the condition of the roots, tangling and maintenance. It is not guaranteed, and we do not promise a fixed number of installations.

What should I confirm before opening the packs?

Check the shade, length and Pack count; then confirm the root format, planned total grams and finished shape with your braider. Contact support@tressifine.com with questions before installation.
