What length
should you
choose?
An inch number tells you the measured length—not where the hair will land. Match the texture, your height and the drop you want before you commit.
Curled hair looks shorter than straight hair of the same measured length.

Choose by where it falls,
not just the number
Measure, then look.
Confirm whether the product is measured straightened or loose. The same inch number can look shorter once curls or waves form, so check the visual fall on yourself before deciding.
Pick the drop, not the digit.
Decide the level you want—shoulders, chest, waist—then work back to an inch. Where hair lands shifts with your height and neck length, so a fixed number is only a starting point.
Textures shorten differently.
Loose waves eat a little visual length; tight curls eat more. A curly texture may need extra inches to reach the same visual drop as a straighter wave.
