For braids and crochet, human hair is not automatically the better buy. Compare the specific products, upfront cost and care routine—not just the material label.
Buy for the first wear. Treat reuse as a possibility.

Name the benefit.
Is it the movement, finish or styling flexibility you want? Look for real product photos and relevant demonstrations. “Human hair” alone does not prove the quality of a particular pack.
Budget for the routine.
Loose hair still needs attention. If your goal is a completely hands-off style, buying a more expensive material will not guarantee it. Choose a look whose upkeep you can realistically accept.
Do the one-wear test.
Would the purchase still feel worthwhile if you could not reuse the hair? If it only works financially after several installs, pause. We do not guarantee a set number of reuses.

Accept the commitment.
Consider human hair if the specific product meets your priorities and you are comfortable with its care requirements.
